    Book In The Barn

    Head on over to Marieke Gouda every Wednesday through August for Book In The Barn. Kids have the chance to be read to on hay bales in the barn, and if you would like, see how cheese is made. Registration is at 11:30, cost is five dollars which includes a grilled cheese, applesauce, fries, and milk.

    US National Parks Photography Exhibit

    Heyde Center for the Arts/Chippewa Valley Cultural Association 3 S High St, Chippewa Falls. America’s National Parks are living, breathing monuments to our nation's history, culture, and landscape. Photographer Rick Koziel will guest curate an exhibit featuring photographs of the United States National Parks by area photographers. There will be a speaker from the US National Park Service on the 29th of July at 7:00  p.m. The Park Service is celebrating its 100th Anniversary. No cost for admission to the exhibit

    Comedy Show: Isaac Witty & Tracy Schroeder

    Bye the Willow is hosting Tracy Schroeder, and Issac Witty On Friday, July 29 8-10 pm.  Tracy will be opening and Isaac will be the main act. Come for a night of laughs and enjoy wine, beer and many more specialty beverages. More about the  comedians: Isaac is a nationally known headlining comedian whose has performed on stages and comedy festival across the nation leading to performances on Late Night with David Letterman and a recent appearance on The Conan Show. Tracy's been doing stand-up comedy for the last 14 years and she couldn't imagine wanting to do anything different.

    Cheese lovers check out Marieke Gouda at 200 W. Liberty Drive Thorp, WI for free tours and cheese on July 30  Marieke Gouda will be hosting a special event to showcase their business and give everyone a chance to try some delicious cheese made right in Thorp. Tours will run every 15 minutes. Marieke opens at 7am and closes at 7 pm.

    Loopy's 50th Birthday and Customer Appreciation Party

    Head on over to Loopy's (10691 Bus Hwy 29 / Hwy X, Chippewa Falls) on Saturday, July 30 at 7 pm to help Loopy Kleich celebrate 20 great years at Loopy's Saloon, Grill and River Rentals. Loopy would like to celebrate his "Big Five O" by thanking everyone for helping Loopy's be a part of the Chippewa Valley and for helping donate or raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for local charities and families in need over the years. The event will include free beer and food. $2 drinks and bottles of beer. Free shuttles within 15 miles to & from home or hotel. Volleyball, Bean Bag Toss, Fire Pit, Hammerschlagen, Giant Jenga, The Cruzan Rum TiKi Bar at the Leinenkugel's Backyard Beer Garden overlooking the beautiful Chippewa River!
